Prepare for the Marriage, Not Just the Wedding
Most of us are aware that half of all first marriages don't last. The numbers are even more daunting for second and third marriages. The good news is that you can give yourself every chance at a long and fulfilling marriage by doing some work on the front end. Premarital sessions offer you and your partner the opportunity to explore your relationship styles, to express your marriage expectations, and to begin to unpack any baggage you are bringing with you.
Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts
SYMBIS is an in-depth assessment that covers dozens of topics (e.g., personality, finances, spirituality). Each person fills out the assessment, then we'll meet to discuss the results. The assessment highlights your strengths as individuals and as a couple, while also identifying areas you need to address. I typically recommend 5-8 sessions. More sessions are available if you want to address any concerns further.
